Joseph M. Prisco D.D.S.

Dr. Prisco attended Marquette University as an undergraduate and graduated Marquette University Dental School in 1975. Oral Surgery training was taken at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, N.Y.

Dr. Prisco has been active as a coach with local youth traveling soccer, as well as a player in the mens leagues. He is an avid motorcycle rider. He resides in Poughkeepsie with his wife Hannele from Finland and their three children, Raymond, Joseph, and Minna.

Joseph Arcuri II D.D.S.

Dr. Arcuri attended Manhattanville College. He received his D.D.S. from Columbia University's School of Dental & Oral Surgery in 1992. At Columbia he served as V.P. for the William Jarvie (Honor & Research) Society and was awarded the American Association of Oral Surgeons award for outstanding performance as an undergraduate. Oral Surgery training was taken at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Arcuri is a past President of the Dutchess County Dental Society, and has served on both regional and state committees for organized dentistry. He coaches Little League Baseball, is a life long Yankee fan, and is kept busy with his three young children.

A 4 year course of surgical training in a University Hospital setting is taken AFTER earning a dental degree [D.D.S. or D.M.D.]. The 4 additional years of surgical training we go through is unparalleled in dentistry. Board Certification Many practitioners will claim that they are Board Certified or a Diplomate or Fellow of a Board. As with the recognized specialties of the ADA, one can only be Board Certified in dentistry if one has successfully completed a residency program in one of the dental specialties, AND, has passed a rigorous examination schedule proving knowledge and sound clinical judgement.
